When we lack complete information, our brains naturally invent possibilities.
Unfortunately, those imagined explanations are often incorrect.
That’s why asking questions usually works better than making assumptions.
Curiosity Is Normal
Being curious doesn’t automatically mean someone is invading another person’s privacy.
There’s an important difference between:
Accidentally noticing something in plain view.
And intentionally searching through personal belongings.
Respecting boundaries remains important.
So does honest conversation.
The Real Answer
After finally asking about the mysterious object, the explanation turned out to be much less dramatic than I had imagined.
